We hope that 2009 was good to you and your family, it was a little tough here but we seem to be overcoming that and are ready for a wonderful 2010. Now that our winter season is in full swing in Tahoe, Janelle is back to work and Andy has been working a ton. Kids are just winding down from their Christmas Break and nobody is excited for school to start back up. We did add a new member to our family over the break (see photo below) and he is fitting in nicely. Christmas was fun and early as usual, kids got up at 3:30 and subsquently got Andy and I up to share the excitement. I think one of Brycen's favorite gifts was a foot massager from Costco LOL. Addy got an erector set plus other miscl and Ty's favorites are his new laptop and pull-up bar. Dad, Sara and Walter joined us for a nice Prime-Rib dinner and ended hanging out longer than usual which was a welcome surprise. We ended our year with a fun progressive dinner with our neighbors that ended in a fire-pit and smores dessert at the cul-de-sac and sparklers in the snow.
Happy Birthday Mom, and Grandma Eva this January (sorry to anyone I forgot). Hug your special people today and let them know how special and loved they are, would be nice for us to see some of you this summer so we are working on that.
HAPPY NEW YEAR........already getting excited for Valentines Day!!
Love Janelle and family

Ty after his license test.
So much for a snails pace.
So, I don't know about you, but life around here seems to be snowballing for us. Faster....faster....faster. It seems the minute I turn around, one of our children is reaching yet another milestone in their lives. I try to relish the moment but so many times, it doesn't seem like we celebrate often enough some of lifes important memories or take note of some of the special messages we should be learning from our children. I am going to try to slow down a bit this month to focus a little more. (yes, it will be hard for me to slow down but I know it needs to be done.)
